Originally designed by the well-known 1950's LA architect Thornton Ladd to be a Korean parsonage, the challenge was to maintain the period Modern and Asian themes of the house while transforming the space into an updated and more comfortable environment. All of the interior finishes were renovated while portions of the house were completely gutted and remodeled. The sophisticated air of warm woods and simple lines throughout are balanced with whimsical touches such as wooly Flokati rugs, green onyx countertops, and textured sliding wall panels.
